Canadian fellows? You mean BrousStar’s American strawmen/con artists that pretend they are Canadian? Times must be mighty tough with 79 Trout Point for sale and money being tight for the cottages due to a lack of rentals. Even worse they are claiming (for like the 6th straight year) to be open over the winter which means no winter vacation with the pooches in Spain at Rauda House. I bet without Aaron’s little Canadian bribery money train going this winter will be especially cold at the Lodge, which sources tell Slabbed can’t be heated by fireplaces alone during the dead of winter.

The following review left earlier this month at Trip Advisor well sums up the current state of the Canadian wing of the Goatherder Nation:

A grand lodge run on a youth hostel budget. From the never manned front desk to the dead flowers in plastic pots to the supermarket tag (Loblaws) no one cared enough to snip off the lounge pillow, past the sauna door that does not close to the life jackets black with grime next to the nail in the deck–the place reeks of neglect and cut corners. Three quarters of an hour is apparently too far to go to fetch newspapers, but does Canada Post not deliver anything more readable than luxury car brochures? Supermarket bread for breakfast, really?

Yes, it is a beautiful building on a wonderful river tended by hard working staff, but it feels as if the owners are in the back room counting their money and the minutes until they can leave.

Being a cockroach on the dung heap of life must be a miserable existence eh?

Hey, Doug. Wonder where all of those Canadian fellows are these days? I am sure they are keeping their heads down now with all of the shit hitting the fan. Broussard’s permanent disbarment is just the icing on the cake of your quest for the truth on the funneling of kickbacks through Trout Point.
