Hey Russ ,
I just got a radical thought, let the farmers raise the wages rather than let the crops spoil in the fields or hire the prisoners. Also fire the lobbyist responsible for the story and as Jimbo the clown # 1 said become self sufficient and stop taking the entitlements, now how do you like them apples Jimbo ? Who’s to say people won’t pay another nickle or two for an apple ?

I know a lot of people that use to take this type of work. If you bring in enough semi-serf labor to get the labor rate low enough, it is true that they will eventually loose interest in the work.

Then he needs to think between the lines, farm industries are the largest corporate entitlements in the U.S. and the only ones that I know of where farmers are paid not to grow crops in essence not to do work. Common sense to those without a Tea party agenda would see where this is going but add that to a mentality of former state insurance commissioner who helped the industry pass the named storm deductable you can then understand why he’s a convicted felon . Take another sip of that Tea Jim , you wanna talk about entitlements then lets just not coral the poor in the U.S. here let’ s talk about the corporate entitlements to a companies the size of GE who pay’s zip in taxes or the needless energy subsidiary’s that Oil companies cash in on while having record profits . How about before we make you judge jury an executioner on who is poor enough or unable to work to be entitled to help let’s talk about all those undeserving countries that hate us who have never put anything in to the tax bucket for the sake of spreading democracy to those who’s religious beliefs find it repugnant. Ask your self this why is oil so high and speculators are unregulated , did the U.S. ever get repaid by Kuwait or Iraq and do they really need our continued monetary support which includes Saudi’s , Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Libya? Lets be real we borrow money from China and Japan to give away to other countries when or citizens should come first but funny thing is our middle class and poor are always first up on the chopping block , why do think that is, oh that’s right those apples need to be picked don’t they ?
