BREAKING: Aaron Broussard Laundered his money through Nova Scotia!!!!! A Trout Point Update
Folks, the walls must really be closing in on the girls methinks given the nasty grams and such they have been sending me of late. Well folks, Rich Rainey of all people has the skinny on Karen Parker’s plea and “factual basis”, which contained the following tidbit:
Additionally, from approximately 2004 through 2010, Broussard received monies, totaling hundreds of thousands of dollars, that were characterized as, among other things, “retainers,” “consulting fees” or “finder’s fees” with various contractors and vendors, all of whom were doing business with Jefferson Parish during the period of time Broussard was the President of Jefferson Parish. Moreover, Broussard was a majority owner in a holding company which owned an investment property in Canada. Broussard received income from this Canadian property. This property was partially funded by individuals and/or entities who were contractors and/or vendors doing business with Jefferson Parish during the period of time Broussard was the Jefferson Parish President.
Folks all I can say is Leary and his wife Vaughn Perret, owners of the Trout Point Lodge in Nova Scotia and fiscal agents for Broussard’s real estate holdings at the Trout Point development have actually threatened to do what I told them they had to do originally; namely if they wanted to sue me they had better come to the US. So girls, you’ve been living on Slabbed lately and talking lots of trash so this is my official answer to you and rest assured I have a compete series of posts coming that will explore both Karen Parker’s latest revelations and soooo much more. ~ sop

So. A few names come to mind.
Peter Butler Jr ( PRAKA Nova Scotia corporate docs) = Counsel for West Jefferson Medical Center ( didn’t they just receive a few more love notes from the Feds?) AND outside legal counsel for Jefferson Parish on numerous and sundry cases AND friend of Freaky Freddie Heebe and all things River Birch…
Edmund Muniz ( admitted owning an interest ) former JP Councilman; Mayor of Kenner; Captain of the Krewe of Endymion; …
And who was the former Assistant Parish Attorney who wrote that nice note to Aaron after taking his family to the property for a vacation? His wife was involved in the political mix also. Oh yeah, Dyer…or something.
Perhaps a glance at the Guest Register or at the Agreements the guests had to sign about not dissing the property without prior approval of the management could offer a more extensive accounting of who went when and for how much.
What a ride.

Shark I hear Mr Muniz feels as shafted as the rest on Broussard and Abel’s specialty hotel swindles. To mention his name in the same post as Butler gets him too close to the stinky than the facts as we know them indicate.

Maybe I’m naive, or “behind the times”, or both, but is there any significance to the fact that no one from Lettenemgo’s office signed the Factual Basis for the plea of GUILTY by Karen Parker? It was signed by an Assistant U.S. Attorney from “Knife and Fork, Bottle and Cork”, that’s the way you spell New York, and another from TexASS. Ashton O’Dwyer.

After reading the above statement, and considering that there is an avalanche of superseding indictments couched in the posture of a CCE prosecution that’s about to engulf Broussard, I interpret his inferring that he will try and talk his way out of this at a trial as evidence of, 1) he is border-line delusional, thus crazy, or 2) the stand he’s talking about is one built for the guillotine !
